Dr. Zhang is an assistant professor in Louisiana State University. He received his PhD from Texas A&M University in May 2012 before working as a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of California at Davis. His research includes urban/regional air quality modeling and source apportionment of air pollutants with an emphasis on the size and composition of atmospheric particles and gas-to-particle conversion processes. He is also interested in obtaining a better understanding of the interactions between aerosols and meteorology and the effects of climate change on future air quality.
