I am a Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering,University of Macedonia located at Kozani, Greece. I have a Diploma (1999) and a PhD (2005) from the Department of Environment, University of the Aegean in Greece. Before joining the department of Mechanical Engineering I worked as a Research Scientist at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (Institute of Nuclear & Radiological Sciences & Technology, Energy & Safety, Energy, Safety and Environmental Technologies Division). I have served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and then as a Research Scientist II at Georgia Institute of Technology, School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
