I'm Ling Qi. I was born in Shanxi, China, and I did all my schooling in China. I got my BS. and MS. degree from Peking University in Beijing. And I came to the United States for a PhD. degree in the AOS department of UCLA in 2011. My research interest includes: constraining the emission of black carbon; identifying the sources of black carbon in Arctic; quantifying the contribution of biomass burning to black carbon aerosols in Arctic and calculating the radiative effect of black carbon in Arctic.
