Cat is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working at the University of Leeds with Prof. Ken Carslaw and Prof. Dominick Spracklen on the Horizon 2020 funded CRESCENDO project. Cat completed her PhD (The biogeochemical impacts of forests and the implications for climate-change mitigation) at the University of Leeds. For this work, Cat used a global aerosol microphysics model (GLOMAP) to simulate the impact of biogenic secondary organic aerosol (formed from natural compounds emitted by vegetation) on the climate.
