GMAO no longer produces GEOS-5.2.0 data. The current GMAO met data product (as of 2013) is now the GEOS-FP operational product. But you can still run GEOS-Chem simulations using our archive of GEOS-5.2.0 meteorology. (Bob Yantosca, 19 Aug 2013)

On this page we list the GMAO GEOS-5.2.0 met fields that are currently archived for use with GEOS-Chem. This is only a subset of the entire GEOS-5 met field data archive.

A-3 Fields

  • These are 3-hr time-averaged fields.
  • Data times: 01:30, 04:30, 07:30, 10:30, 13:30, 16:30, 19:30, 22:30 GMT
  • All A-3 fields are 2-dimensional (lon,lat)
  • The File Collection is the name of the GEOS-5.2.0 "raw" data file that a particular data field may be found in. This is specified in the GEOS-5.2.0 file specification document.
