IDL routine to pre-process volcanic SO2 emissions from AEROCOM for use in GEOS-Chem. To use, rename from "volc_preprocess.pro.txt" to "volc_preprocess.pro". Note that this routine creates BPCH files for use in v9-02 and earlier; from v10-01 volcanic SO2 emissions will be incorporated as netcdf files as part of HEMCO.
