This page describes the EDGAR v4.3 anthropogenic emissions. This inventory will be considered for inclusion into GEOS-Chem v11-02 via the HEMCO emissions component.
Overview
This update was included in v11-02f (approved 17 May 2018).

- I have downloaded the new EDGAR v4.3 data (http://edgar.jrc.ec.europa.eu/overview.php?v=431) and initially implemented it to GEOS-Chem. The new EDGAR data will include OC and EC emissions for the first time, covering more than ten sectors and the year 1970-2010. The data I developed include annual emissions and seasonality scale factors for each species and each sector.
