GEOS-Chem Versions Page

This page includes information about GEOS-Chem 14.6.2. This version is a Z-release which means it causes no differences in the full-chemistry benchmark simulation using MERRA2.

Version overview

  • This is the current stable release of GEOS-Chem
  • Release date: 12 Jun 2025

NOTE: We have released GEOS-Chem 14.6.2 earlier than anticipated in order to fix an issue with unit conversions for nested-grid boundary conditions (see geos-chem PR #2892) We plan to change the status of GEOS-IT from "beta" to "ready-to-use" in GEOS-Chem 14.6.3.
